Positive Thinking: A Powerful Tool

All of our thought processes are controlled by our mind.

Positive thinking leads to a life full of happy and positive experiences.

Negative thinking leads to existing with a doom and gloom attitude.

Positive thinking is finding the good in every situation.

5 Tips to Improve Your Mindset with Positive Thinking

1. Change every negative thought you have to a positive one. Be a Pollyanna – if you have not seen the movie … Pollyanna’s father taught her the “glad game”, Consistently finding something to be glad about.

2. Surround yourself with happy positive people. Social gatherings should have a special meaning to you and make you happy. Create as many positive memories for yourself whenever you can.

3. Enjoy the simple pleasures in life. Nothing is too small or insignificant. Life is yours to enjoy.

4. Laugh. After all, it is the best medicine. If you find yourself feeling down – or in a negative mood, watch a funny movie or visit someone who has the ability to make you laugh.

5. Be Kind to yourself as well as others. Give a hug to someone who needs it. (Always remember to hug your spouse and children!) Greet everyone you meet with a smile. Give to others that are less fortunate than you.

Everything that you do will affect others around you. If you are negative and always finding fault, people won’t want to be around you.

However, if you are positive and happy, people will want to be in your company to swoop up the positive energy that emerges from you.

Positive thinking breeds positive results.

The way you begin your day sets the tone for the ENTIRE das events. This doesn’t only impact you, but it will also influence your family and anyone you come into contact with as well.

CHOOSE to begin your day in a positive manner. Do not get up in a grumpy mood – no one likes a grump.

What do you see when you first wake up?

Hang a vibrant colorful picture on the wall where you will see it first thing upon opening your eyes. It must be something that you really like.

When you first wake up, open the curtains and let the sunshine in. Light has a direct affect on one’s mood.

Fresh flowers around your home can really be a mood lifter as well.

You can change the way in which you view your life and the world. It can make all the difference. Focus on the positive blessings in your life. Try not to think about negative things.

Positive thinking is learning to channel all of your thoughts in the direction of goodness. Take time to smell the roses. Be thankful for everything you have. Be generous to those who have less than you.

Nothing in the world can negatively impact the feeling you get when you look into the smiling face of a child. Learn to live life to the fullest and enjoy every precious moment – just like a child. Positive thinking comes natural for most children – until they learn negativity.

Remember, Positive Thinking and Leading a Happy Life go hand in hand.
