4. As I let go of dissatisfaction, I feel happiness in my life.
5. My life is full of purpose, exciting change, and many recognized deeds.
6. No matter the challenge, I will see it through.

Accomplish More with the Power of Inspirational Thinking

Inspirational sayings and affirmations can help us move forward in life and accomplish greater things than we could have ever imagined. After all, we can’t deny the power of a can-do attitude. If more of us incorporate inspiration into our lives, we would all be happier and more successful people. When you incorporate positive sayings into your life, you’ll find that you’ll respond on a subconscious level and you’ll no longer need to look very far for inspiration!

If you’re down or lacking confidence, you can use inspirational sayings to find the courage to move forward and force out any negative thoughts that may be cycling through your mind. When you say these statements with gusto, you are re-affirming positive thoughts in your mind, making them a part of who you are. Remember to use these sayings at any and every occasion to give you the inspiration you need to get through any challenge, both big and small.

Confidence is the key to achieving your dreams and creating the life that you want to live.

People who lack confidence stay “stuck” in their comfort zone. It’s almost as if they are frozen in fear …

Afraid to be who they really are

Afraid to take risks

Afraid to fail

Afraid to succeed

Afraid to take action

Afraid of change

Afraid of struggles

FEAR is False Evidence Appearing Real. You may be wondering what this means to you. It means that you create your own fear by your thoughts. You have imagined scenarios or events that have never actually occurred. You have become a prisoner of your own mind – frozen in fear. You believe it’s safer to stay in your “comfort zone” then it is to climb out of it and begin living the life you claim you really want.

The first step to obtaining unstoppable confidence is to look fear straight in the face and decide to take action regardless of how you feel. You realize that fear is a necessary struggle that allows you to emerge into the beautiful gifted person that you are.

Why are struggles necessary?

Think of the metamorphosis of a caterpillar to a butterfly. The caterpillar is short, stubby and has no wings. The next stage of life is the chrysalis. During this stage remarkable transformation occurs. Then the butterfly begins its struggle to emerge. If she emerges too soon, she will not be able to fly. Allowed to struggle through the transformation – she becomes a beautiful butterfly that can spread her wings – A New Beginning in her life.

What is Unstoppable Confidence

It’s listening to your inner voice and trusting in it’s guidance, even if it may not make sense to you at the time.

It’s knowing and trusting that everything will work out in your best interest, regardless how dark the day may be.

It’s the ability to take the required action necessary to reach your goals – regardless of the fear you may be feeling.

It’s accepting failures, knowing that each time you fail, you are one step closer to achieving your goal. You know that even though you will fail that you are not a failure.

It’s believing you will achieve your desired outcome without being attached to the “how”.

It’s being comfortable with saying “no”. You understand that every time you say “no” to one thing, you are in essence saying “yes” to something else.

It’s understanding and knowing that you are an individual with unique gifts and experiences that are al your own. You know that no one else can be you – no one can replace you. It’s because of this knowing, that you don’t feel a need to compete with others.

3 Techniques to building Unstoppable Confidence

Visualizing – Use your imagination to walk through the doors of the unknown. Look around, What do you see? What do you hear? What do you feel? Dare to dream big and remember the quote by Napoleon Hill “What the mind can believe, it can achieve”.Your subconscious does not realize the difference between “real” or “make-believe”. The more you “make-believe” the harder your subconscious will work to make it your reality.

Awareness – Be aware of your thoughts. What self-limiting beliefs are you holding onto that is making you lack the confidence you need to achieve your goals? Ask yourself if these beliefs are really true? Why or why not? Who would you be if you “let go” if this belief?

Affirmations – Reprogram your subconscious with thoughts by using affirmations such as “I am confident”. If you say this and your inner voice is screaming at you that you are a big liar … then try a softer approach “Why am I confident?” Your mind will not argue with a question – instead it will try to figure out a way to answer the question. By asking yourself, “Why am I confident”, several times a day for at least 30 days, you will begin to feel more confident.

Confidence is something everyone struggles with from time to time. It can be scary to venture out and try something new, be it a new job, a new relationship, beginning a family or moving to a different area. Other life events that may interfere with your level of confidence is ending a relationship, a job that you hate, losing a job and kids going off to college.

Life is ALL about change. Nothing is the same today as it was yesterday. This is why you will never be 100 percent confident — there’s always something new or different to learn and try. The sad thing is that there confidence busters that can keep you stuck and prevent you from growing to your full potential. Be aware of them and turn them around to be confident boosters instead …

Top 5 Confidence Busters

Feeling Out of Control

Do you lack confidence because you feel out of control? Most of us are “trained” to believe that life just happens. Some people are lucky and some are not. We are told that people over 50 can’t get jobs, that the economy is bad – the unemployment rate is high, there are no good men (or women) left out there, that life is hard work etc. With these beliefs cemented in your subconscious, you live day to day reacting to circumstances and people around you.

The TRUTH is that YOU do have control. Your reality – what you see around you – is based on your beliefs and your perceptions. Once you realize this, you begin thinking thoughts and taking actions that create the reality you want. For instance if you are in a job that you hate, there is no reason for you to stay there a minute longer than necessary – All that is required is for you to determine what you want to do, the steps to get there and taking action everyday, such as taking night classes to learn skills needed, completing applications, talking to people in the field you want to be in and when the time is right, you will be able to say good-bye to the job you hate and begin one that you enjoy. The alternative is to do nothing and go to work day after day at a job you despise while it is killing the flame inside of you.

You feel out of control because you are looking at the outside – the circumstance, instead look inside at your passions and your desires and listen to your inner-voice. By following your heart and taking action, you will soon see that you are indeed in control of your life.

Expecting Perfection

Perfection is a myth. It is unattainable. There is no one perfect, yet we are all perfect in our imperfections. Believing that you need to be perfect and that mistakes are not an option can bust your confidence all to pieces. Every time you do something you see all the flaws and none of the beauty in what you have created. You may compare your work to other peoples work and constantly condemn your own. It’s hard to accept compliments because you feel it’s not perfect.

The TRUTH is that you are perfect just the way you are. You are the sum total of all of your thoughts and experiences up to this point. Stop getting in your own way by expecting perfection. Do you see the flaws in other people as much as you see them in yourself? Probably not. Something to remember is that other people do not expect perfectionism from you.

Procrastination

All procrastination is – is an excuse not to do what you know in your heart needs to be done in order for you to achieve success. You probably procrastinate because you are afraid of failure or success. If you don’t begin then no one can judge you. If you don’t begin then you don’t need to be concerned about it being perfect.

The TRUTH is that you are worthy of success, of love, of achieving your dreams. Face your fears with one small baby step, then another and another. If you think back, you will more than likely think of many times, that you were afraid to start something or thought that it would be boring, after taking the first step, you picked up momentum and had a pleasurable time and enjoyed the final outcome. Remember every journey – no matter how small – begins with the first step.

The Past

A person that is constantly thinking of the past, is living in the past. This also includes replaying happy times over and over in your head. If you are constantly wishing “life was like it used to be,” or “I should’ve, could’ve done or said this,” you are surrendering to something that you truly have no control of – the past. The past is gone. It can not be changed or altered in any way shape or form.

The TRUTH is that by conditioning yourself to look at the present moment, you can and will create a brighter future. Instead of dwelling on past fights, look at what is around you right this second, and remember that “All is Well!”. Use this mantra or a similar one, when you begin to fret about the past. Get out a piece of paper and write down 10 things you are grateful for, right this moment. Live in the NOW, it is all that you have.

Negative Thinking

Be aware of your thoughts. Negative thinking will never get you anywhere good. If you constantly think that you are not good enough, smart enough, pretty enough, capable enough … you will continue to bring unwanted things into your life, due to your deep rooted belief that you are not worthy of good things. If you constantly think “My husband doesn’t care for me, he ignores me, doesn’t enjoy my company” etc, you will act in a way that will cause him not to want to be around you. Your thoughts create your words and actions and your actions affect everyone and everything around you.

The TRUTH is that you can change your thinking. Just be aware of your thoughts and when a negative thought comes up, replace it with a positive one. You may also want to get out a pen and paper and list every negative thought you can think of and then consciously rewrite it in the positive. Another idea is to periodically check in on your thoughts and write down exactly what you are thinking. It’s almost miraculous the way things seem to change around you once you begin focusing on the positive within you and the positive in other people and things.

Do you tend to be more accepting of others’ mistakes than your own? If so, you’re being too hard on yourself! Those people aren’t better than you! You were created with a unique set of talents that no one else has. Plus, everyone makes mistakes. We’re only human!

Becoming more accepting of yourself and loving yourself for the fine person that you really are can lead you to greater happiness and a more fulfilling life.

Here are some excellent techniques you can use to help you better accept yourself:

1. Focus on your positive qualities. Even though self-improvement is a good thing, it’s important that you identify and focus on your positive qualities, rather than concentrating on the qualities you feel negatively about.

* Maintaining this positive focus will not only help you better accept yourself, but it’ll also make it easier for you to attain your goals by utilizing your talents to boost yourself forward.

2. Consciously prevent negative thinking patterns. Negative thinking can really snowball fast if you don’t get ahead of it. It’s okay to be in a bad mood every once in awhile and have some negative thoughts; it happens to everyone. The trick is in learning how to push those negative thoughts aside and replace them with something positive.

* Replace your negative thoughts about yourself with affirmations. Affirmations are positive statements that affirm your positive qualities and help bring out the best in you. You can find affirmations in bookstores and on websites, or you can write your own.

* If you believe in yourself, you can do it. It’s really that simple.

3. Accept your imperfections. Another part of being human is having some imperfections. Instead of dwelling on the things you can’t change, accept them for what they are. Making the best of your life starts with accepting your imperfections.

4. Use positive self-talk. Positive self-talk can help you achieve great things and change the way you think about yourself. Make it a point to give sincere compliments to yourself.

* Compliment yourself for the good things about your looks, your positive qualities, and every time you do something right. Do this each and every day until it becomes a habit.

5. Disregard what other people might think about your decisions. You’ll never make everyone else happy. If you try, you’ll soon discover that, not only will other people still be unhappy, but you’ll also be exhausted and unhappy yourself.

* Make your own decisions according to your priorities and be confident that you’ve done what is right for you.

6. Avoid worrying. Worrying will never help your situation. Rather than wasting your time by being engulfed in fear, take action to do what you can to make the situation better. If there’s nothing you can do to change it, focus on moving forward in other ways.

7. Try your best and accept that you’ve done what you could. Do your best every day and be proud of yourself for your efforts. Let go of any negative thoughts, such as being angry with yourself for not being able to accomplish an impossible feat.

* Even when you haven’t done your best, find a way to forgive yourself. Move on and commit to trying harder next time.

In changing the way you think about yourself, you’ll also change the way you see the world. Every day opens up new opportunities for you, and by utilizing positive thinking, you can make a real difference!

Believe in Yourself and Become Your Own #1 Fan!

If you’re looking to lead a happier life, It’s an absolute necessity that you believe in yourself. If you don’t believe in yourself, how can you expect others to believe in you?

You may have gone through some rough times in your life making it difficult to be the happy person you want to be. Maybe you even suffer from a lack of self-confidence because of past conflicts and pains. No matter what you’ve been through, you can choose to overcome these obstacles.

It’s time to be your own #1 fan and there’s no better time than right now to believe in yourself!

1. Gain more confidence in yourself by facing your fears.

* Fear of failure may have caused you to ignore your dreams, desires or goals. Don’t let fear stop you from getting what you want and achieving your goals. If Thomas Edison had been afraid of failure, we wouldn’t have the luxury of indoor lighting today. He never gave up trying to find the right way to make a light bulb and he experienced over 10,000 ways of how not to make a light bulb. Just because you don’t reach your goals or dreams the first time, don’t give up, believe in yourself. Keep trying until you succeed.

* Fear of being alone may stop you from going away to school or moving to a new city where you can pursue your dreams. Realize that you will make new friends and that you’re current friends will always be there. Now with the Internet, staying in touch with your friends and family is easier and more convenient than ever.

* Once you begin facing your fears, you’ll discover that what you feared may not be such a big deal after all. But, you’ll never know until you start.

When you Believe in Yourself, you will be free from the paralysis of self-doubt, find easy solutions to difficult problems and eliminate worry, fear and resentment.

2. Self-talk can also determine whether you believe in yourself or not.

* Do you often say negative things like, “I’m an idiot,” or “That was a dumb thing to do,” or “I’m ugly?” How you perceive yourself comes out in what you say. However, what you say to yourself can also change how you see yourself.

* Start speaking positively to yourself, about yourself. When you’re getting ready for the day, while looking in the mirror, point out positive characteristics about yourself and say them out loud. Phrases such as:

“I am an attractive person.”

“I am a good parent.”

“I am a hard worker.”

“I love myself.”

“I like how I look in these clothes.

“”I am brilliant.”

* Even if you don’t believe it, say it! You’ll soon realize these things really are true. You can also post positive quotes or scriptures where you would see them several times a day to keep your spirits high.

3.Learn to be secure. Insecurity can be a source of disbelief. Learning to be more secure in certain areas of your life will help you believe in yourself more, plus others will begin to believe in you as well.

4. Continuous growth: There may be certain areas in your life that you feel you need to work on, so work on them!

* Are you bad at financial management? Take a class to help you learn how to budget so you can be in control of your money, instead of your money controlling you.

* Are you a slow reader? Take a speed-reading class or get a tutor to help you build speed.

* Do you find it challenging to speak in public? Take a public speaking course or become an intern for an organization where you must speak in public.

* Is your weight stopping you from believing yourself? First of all, remember that today’s society has a skewed view of beauty. Don’t allow the media to determine your worth! However, if your weight is at an unhealthy level, learn how to eat healthy and get regular exercise to take some weight off.

No matter what’s stopping you from believing in yourself, there’s a way to overcome it. You’ll first need to figure out what’s causing your self-doubt. Is it fear, insecurity, mental attitudes, or something else? Only then can you face the obstacle and overcome it.

The definition for self love is “The instinct or desire to promote one’s own well-being; regard for or love of one’s self.”

Sounds simple, everyone should have the desire to promote their own well-being, right?

Let me ask you:
* Do you think you are practicing self love when you beat yourself up for something you should have or should not have done?
* When you allow yourself to be consumed with guilt?
* Through your eating and exercise habits?
* Do you have a hard time forgiving yourself?

You might be asking; How do I love myself without coming across as being conceited or egotistic?

It is by being as accepting and giving to yourself as you are to others. Treating yourself with respect. Not putting yourself down. Accepting your weaknesses and embracing your strengths. It is knowing and accepting that you are not perfect and never will be. The good news is neither is anyone else!

Self Love allows you to capitalize on your strengths and how to accept your weaknesses without guilt or remorse.

Loving yourself unconditionally does not mean that you will like every action you have taken or will take. Nor does it mean that you will always say the right words. It’s accepting yourself just as you are. It is releasing the doubts you have about yourself. It is not being concerned with pleasing everyone we know for fear of being rejected.

Self love is not conceit nor is it egotism. Conceit brags about oneself to make himself look better than others as does egotism. However, there is a side of egotism that you might not know about – the silent egotist. This person silently puts everyone down in his or her minds. They feel superior and believe that they are superior. They know more and their way is right. They believe they are practicing good sense to resist putting others down verbally. Ego operates based on fear – looking to others for love and acceptance.

It is a calm inner peace of knowing who you are and what you want. It has a quiet, steady radiance, which draws others to its light.

Ways to practice loving yourself include taking time for yourself, getting massages, treating yourself to a movie or dinner, be kind to yourself, soak in a tub, take a walk, take up a new sport or try something you’ve always wanted to but was afraid of what others would say.

What is a SMART GOAL?

Specific – Measurable – Attainable – Realistic – Time Bound

Specific
Specific tells exactly what you want to achieve by answering the why, how, when and where of your goal. The clearer your goal, the better odds you have of achieving it. It should be so clear that a child would be able to tell you when you have achieved it. Remember Clarity equals Success!!!

Measurable
You should be able to track and measure your progress along the way. Each measured success builds momentum and motivation as it lets you know you are moving in the right direction.

Attainable
If it is, possible that one person can achieve this goal then YOU CAN too! Be confident that you can and will achieve your goal. The only goal that is never reached is the one that you give up on. (A goal that would be unattainable would be something in the area of “I want to end hunger in the world” or “I will create world peace”.)

Realistic
Your subconscious needs to believe that it is realistic and possible for you to achieve it. Continue to build your confidence in achieving your goal by reading your goal daily, affirmations, visualization and writing down what achieving your goal will look and feel like

Time Bound
Your goal needs a deadline. They help you to track your progress and keep you focused. Deadlines are not set in stone. Do your very best to achieve your goal on time, but be flexible enough to extend the deadline if you need to.
Download your free SMART Goals Workseet

Example of a SMART Goal:

If your goal is to be healthier, your goal might look something like this:

Specific – I wear size 10 clothing, Exercise an hour a day for 6 days a week, and eat at least 9 servings of fruits and vegetables a day.

Measurable – In the above statement you can measure where you are now in relation to wearing a size 10, exercising an hour a day and eating 9 servings of fruits and vegetables. Where are you now? Begin achieving your goal with smaller measureable actionable baby steps that you can easily attain such as eating one fruit daily.

Attainable – Being healthier is an achievable goal, regardless of your age, sex and current weight

Realistic – Being healthier is realistic for almost every person alive.

Time Bound – How long will it take you to achieve the goal? What baby steps can you take to achieve the greater goal? Set a deadline.

Create Your Goal Statement:

“By December 31st I am healthier than I have been. I feel more energetic and alive. I am comfortable in size 10 clothing. I enjoy exercising an hour each day and alternate cardio and strength training. I eat a minimum of 9 servings of fruits and vegetables a day and enjoy trying new recipes”

Do you feel as if your going around and around in circles never getting anywhere?

This is likely due to you being in your comfort zone. This is a place where you feel safe and secure. Everyone likes feeling safe.

On the flip side your comfort zone could be limiting you. You could be missing fantastic opportunities. You could be missing out on love, fun, wealth and the thrill of life itself.

Expanding your comfort zone can bring a whole new world of excitement, passion, experiences, friends, financial opportunities, and knowledge into your life.

Life is full of changes.

Embrace change by developing the habit of finding good in it. You’ll become more comfortable with the changes in your life and will begin looking forward to new adventures and opportunities that await you. With this mindset, you’re ready, willing, and able to expand your comfort zone.

Here are 7 Simple Strategies to help you step out of your comfort zone:

Strategy 1 – Take Baby Steps:
Learn to tread lightly. Remember the phrase you need to learn to crawl before you walk. If you’re trying to immediately take large leaps and bounds fear will set in and you’ll go running back to your safe zone.

When a baby begins walking, they first let go of what they are holding on to. Then they begin taking little steps without even realizing that they are moving. Then they fall. Babies don’t give up and repeat the process until they can walk across the room.

Each step forward is just that: a step forward. These steps will add up to something big as long as you keep trying.

Strategy 2 – Do Something Differently:
Make little changes in your regular everyday choices and activities. Drive a different route to work. Listen to a different radio station. Try a different type of soap or shampoo. Use a different type of dressing on your salad.

Add vibrant colors to your living space. Decorate with different curtains, throw rugs, table cloths, or pillows. Arrange plants or fresh flowers around your home. Re-arrange your furniture or your kitchen cabinets.

Making these small changes can make you feel like you’re a brand new person in a brand new living space. As you experiment you’ll find it’s fun stepping out of your comfort zone.

Strategy 3 – Try Something New:
You don’t have to do anything dramatic like jumping out of a plane (unless you really want too). Try a new sport. Play a new game with your kids, grand-kids or neighbor kids. Take swimming or tennis lessons. You could take a cooking class or try new exotic recipes. Be brave and try a new food every day. You’ll find lots of delicious foods you may have never thought of before.

Strategy 4 – Use Your Imagination:
When your stuck in a rut, in your comfort zone you are actually limiting your imagination. Your imagination is a great source of energy and knowledge. Using your imagination is a great way to exercise your mind and it’s so much fun!

Dare to dream. Dare to be a kid again. Let your mind wander. Let your mind dream big. Daydream. Your imagination can lead you down the path of a fun wondrous and adventurous life.

Strategy 5 – Meet New People:
Be open to meeting new people. Take a genuine interest in them by striking up casual conversations. You’ll make new friends and acquaintances that can bring a fresh perspective to life. They can help you step out of your comfort zone with new ideas and concepts.

Strategy 6 – Accept Help:
Your friends and family want to help you. Let them. They can help alleviate fear and stress in new situations that you may feel uncomfortable in.

Strategy 7 – Think Positive:
Everything begins with your thoughts and your feelings. When stepping out of your comfort zone you’ll probably feel fear. While you’re afraid you need to think positive thoughts ….

Wouldn’t it be great if … I’ll feel so excited when …. This is an exhilarating experience …

Have faith that this new opportunity will bring you to a new, comforting place.

The more you experiment with change the more daring you will become. You’ll be ready to tackle other areas of your life that have become stale and dull.

You’ll become more playful and adventurous once you consciously make the effort to step out of your comfort zone. Before you know it you will be living a happier more fulfilled life.

It’s a promise!

I’d start my business

Get married

Find my dream job

Move to another city

Buy a house

Ask so and so on a date

Ask for a promotion

etc etc …..

Many people think they need complete confidence right now to accomplish their dreams. This is what stops them dead in their tracks. This one belief is the reason they will never achieve their dreams.

Building Confidence begins when you take the first baby step.

Have you ever watched a baby as they learn to walk?

My 9 month old grandson just took his first step the other day. He will be holding on to something, and see something he wants a few feet away, begin walking towards and then he just stops. He looks confused and bewildered as he turns around and notices he can’t grab a hold of the object he just let go of. Usually he’ll just sit on the floor and then crawl to his destination.

Babies never give up. They see “big people” walking around and they instinctively know that they can walk too. They may fall down hundreds of times, but each time they get up. And it seems that each time they get up and decide to walk again they inevitably take a few more steps than they did the last time.

I know this is just the beginning for him. Within a month or two he’ll have the confidence he needs to be walking everywhere and exploring his new found freedom.

My grandson does not have complete confidence in walking – yet. His confidence will grow with each and every step he takes.

When you begin taking the necessary steps towards your goal – you too, will look back and say … WOW, how did I get here?

How do you take baby steps?

Building confidence to land your dream job:

1. The first step would be to find out everything you can about the job. What knowledge and education is required to land the job?

2. Then you could sign up for a course that will give you some of the education you need.

3. You could even start applying for entry level jobs in the same industry.

Another example:

Building confidence to move to another city:

1. The first step will be to research the city. You’ll want to know the best areas in town, the crime rate, the medical facilities, the job market, the schools etc.

2. Then you could contact a rental agency or a Realtor and ask them to send you information regarding relocation

3. If you own your own home, you can contact a Realtor in your area to give you a free assessment on your home. How much can you sell it for? How much could you rent it for? What fees will you be responsible to pay?

4. Next you could visit the city you want to move to, to acquaint yourself with it. Drive around the neighborhoods. Find out where the locals go. What type of shopping is available?

5. Then you might want to check out how much it would cost to move; truck rentals, packing supplies, moving companies.

6. Next you should ask yourself the following questions: What would you take with you? What could you sell at a yard sale? What would you need to buy once you move to the new city?

As you can see in both examples the FIRST STEP is to research your goal. The more you research; the next steps will logically fall into place in your mind.

As you complete each step, your confidence grows. You begin to believe that you actually can have your dream job. The more you believe the more steps you will take which will lead you to your job.

What is it that you’ve been missing out on because you’re waiting for complete confidence?

Learn to be where you are right this minute. What is happening right now? Too often many people get stuck in the past. We can not change the past – so let it go. One way of letting go is to simply learn to connect with the present moment. One way to do this is by concentrating on taking long deep relaxing breaths. Focus on your breathing for one or two minutes to bring your attention to the present.

2. Know Who You Are
What makes you happy? When do you feel the most fulfilled? Learn to express your self by doing things you enjoy. Whether your passion is art, music, writing, photography, sports, speaking, mathematics or gardening, it will have a therapeutic effect on you where you feel whole and at peace.

Your passion, talents and strengths is what make you unique. Knowing who you are and what you want out of life builds confidence. To develop the confidence habit and attract what you want out of life sign up for 6 Weeks to Unstoppable Confidence, and begin your amazing journey today.

3. Know Your Strengths
Discover your strengths. Make a list of a few things you’re good at and a few things you’re interested in and would like to be better at. If you’re feeling stuck, ask your family and friends what your strengths are. They often see you in a much more positive light than you see yourself.

4. Acknowledge Your Successes
What have you excelled in? What have people complimented you about? Take pride in every accomplishment – whether it be meeting a deadline, getting a new job, or teaching a child how to tie his shoe.

5. Embrace Your Failures

Learn from your failures. What was good – and what was bad about the failure? Where do you go from here?

You become stronger and gain confidence each time you fail and begin again with a new idea or challenge.

Your are 1 step closer to success. Take a hint from Edison when he said “I haven’t failed, I’ve found 10,000 ways that don’t work.”

Remember that n o one is keeping track of your failures. In general, people are too involved in their own life to really care about your failures.

6. Face Your Fear
Our deepest fear is making a decision. We stand at the door of opportunity, with our hand on the doorknob, our legs shaking, our hands trembling … “Should I?” or “Shouldn’t I?” You may feel as if you have a million reasons to take action, and a million reasons not to.

If you are stuck in fear, you are closed up. You have created the barrier that keeps you from going where you want to go.

Once you make the decision and go forward the fear disappears and is replaced with a high level of self confidence. You have just opened the door to a whole new world that awaits you.

7. Manage Your Mind
Self-Confidence begins with your thoughts. Learn to defeat negative self-talk. Negative feelings are things you created in your own mind. Lighten up and learn to pat yourself on the back. Tell yourself that you are worthy, you are capable, you are loving, you are unique!

Be aware of your thoughts and replace negative thoughts with positive ones. Be aware of your attitude towards yourself and other around you . You will get back what you portray out to the world.

Visualize yourself how you want to be. Visualize yourself taking the actions you want to take. Visualize the life you want. Visualization is simply a rehearsal for real life.

8. Set Goals
Goal setting is the key to attaining everything in your life. If you don’t have goals, you are letting other people and the world around you to dictate your life.

Setting smart goals is simply a process for you to create the life you want. Every time you set a goal and you achieve it, your self-confidence skyrockets.

9. Be Prepared
Be prepared for lifes ups and downs. Know that nothing will ever be perfect – including you. Be prepared by learning what you need to know in order to take the required action for you to get to where you want to go.

10. Take Action
How often have you wanted/needed to do something and then sat around finding excuses not to do. Finally you can’t procrastinate any more so you get up and do it. The action usually is less tedious than you expected to be. Once you’re done you have a sense of accomplishment and increased self-confidence.

So know what steps you need to take and take action. Each step moves you closer to your goal and every small win makes the path in front of you brighter. Building self-confidence comes naturally while you’re on the road to success.

11. Be Committed
Being committed means you will not stop until you have accomplished your mission. When obstacles and challenges come your way – you will find a way to destroy them, go around them, or go dig a tunnel through them. On your journey don’t listen to people who tell you it can’t be done. That is nonsense. Focus on learning from the people who have accomplished what you want to achieve. They have already proven that it’s not impossible.

When you are committed to your goals, you will find that the people and resources that you need will appear at just the right time.

12. Love Yourself
Love and accept yourself just as you are. Each of us have been given our own unique gifts and talents. No one is perfect and know that even the most self-confident people have insecurities. All of us feel that we lack something at some point. It’s part of this bumpy highway called life.

Take time to do loving things for yourself. Pamper yourself. Take good care of yourself with proper diet and exercise. Learn to meditate. Loving and accepting yourself is one of the key ingredients to building your self-confidence.
